We have implemented a highly requested feature in our latest Stash Hub update! You can now customise your to-do lists inside Stash Hub Projects. You can add those steps you often forget, such as sewing in your label or trying your garment on for fitting before it’s too late.
You could also use it to add construction steps for simple projects. If you’re the type of sewist that loves to have multiple projects on the go at once, it’s really handy to check back on the to-do list to remember where you were in a project.
Check out this short video tutorial to see the newly updated to-do list in action:
How to use the custom project to-do list
Open your project in Stash Hub, scroll down to To-do and tap ‘Add to-do item’ to add a new step to the checklist. Press and hold on a step to drag it to a new position in the order.
You can use the bin icon to delete steps. You cannot delete ‘Cut out’ or ‘Sew’ as these steps give you the option to update records when they are checked off. ‘Cut out’ gives you the option to update the fabric length when ‘Length used’ has been filled in and ‘Sew’ gives you the option to update the status of the pattern (e.g. if you want to change it from ‘unmade’ to ‘made’).
When you return to your project list, the next step on the to-do list is shown in the bottom right corner of the project card, so you can see what’s next at a glance.

Love the app
Yay, thank you so much Jeanne!
I began using the custom todo list feature immediately for a project I had started to make summer pjs. I added “sew bottoms”, “sew tops”, as I was using 2 separate patterns. I hit the existing “Sew” once I’d done those to update records. This will be really helpful for other outfit projects.
Brilliant, so glad you are enjoying this update, Donna! Good luck with your projects!
This is a great addition, thank you. I’ll be adding hem as a task, I hate doing it and avoid it terribly!
Haha yes! Hopefully that extra tick box will provide the motivation you need to get it done!
