Fabric details at a glance
Adding fabric info labels to your stash gives you the best of both worlds – you can feel your fabrics as you browse for inspiration, plus you can easily check the length and fabric type before deciding on a project plan. Select which fabrics you want labels for in the new Fabric Info Labels section of Stash Hub, then send your PDF to Fabulosew for printing. Check out the tutorial below for more information on how to order your labels.
How much do the fabric info labels cost?
The Fabric Info Labels cost £2.00 per 10 labels, plus shipping from the UK. If you select an odd number of fabrics, you will receive blank labels up to the next multiple of 10. For example, if you select 36 fabrics, you will recieve 36 pre-filled labels and 4 blank labels and your order will cost £8 plus shipping. Since the labels are made of paper, they are easy to write on, so the blank labels can be used to label new fabric in the future.
Will they damage my fabric?
The labels use an adhesive that is gentle on most fabrics and are crafted to ensure they can be used confidently on your items. While our testing has shown that it is highly unlikely for the labels to leave residue or cause damage to fabrics, we understand that every fabric (and storage environment) is unique and may react differently. If you are particularly concerned, we recommend sticking them to the corner or pinning them on.
Can they be reused?
The labels can be peeled off and re-applied a few times if needed. You could stick them into a swatch book with a cutting of the fabric so you can keep a record of the fabrics you have sewn.
