How to refer a friend to Stash Hub #
Referring a friend to Stash Hub is a great way to introduce them to Stash Hub. It gives them a month of Stash Hub Plus for free, plus you can claim rewards for yourself too!
To view your referral dashboard, open the Stash Hub menu, head to Settings, then select Referrals.
The counter at the top shows how many people have created a Stash Hub account using your referral code. You will receive points when people create verified Stash Hub accounts using your code and subscribe to Stash Hub Plus. You get 1 point when someone uses your Stash Hub referral code and verifies their email address and 10 points when someone subscribes to Stash Hub Plus after using your referral code. Once you reach 100 points, you can redeem them for a free lifetime subscription to Stash Hub Plus!
To generate your code, enter your name in the box and tap Generate Code. Your name will be shown to those that use your code, so you may prefer to use your Instagram handle or first name only.
You’ll be given a unique code. There are three ways to share your Stash Hub referral code:
- Copy to clipboard – simply tap on the text code and it will be copied to your clipboard. You can paste it into another app by pressing and holding in a text field.
- Use the Share button – tap Share to send your code directly to other apps, such as WhatsApp, Instagram, or Email
- Scan the QR code – if you’re referring a friend in person, they can use their camera or QR scanner to scan the QR code from your phone. This will link them to the Stash Hub set up process.
Your counter and points total will automatically update as more people use your code!
How to use a referral code #
You can use a referral code to get a free month of Stash Hub Plus. There’s an option to enter your referral code during the set up process when you first create a Stash Hub account, or you can enter your referral code in the Subscription section of an existing Stash Hub account.
Where to enter the code if you’re new to Stash Hub #
Follow the referral link sent to you or download Stash Hub from the App Store or Play Store to get started. You’ll be prompted to create an account – see this tutorial if you’d like more information about this process. You’ll be taken through a number of screens where you can set your preferences. The third screen titled ‘Got a referral code?’ is where you can enter your referral code. This may be pre-filled if you’ve used a link or QR code. Otherwise, you can type your code into the box or tap on ‘Paste’ to paste a code from your clipboard. Tap ‘Submit Referral Code’ to confirm.
Where to enter the code if you already have a Stash Hub account #
If your Stash Hub account is already set up, head to ‘View Subscription‘ in your Settings. Tap ‘Got a referral code’ at the bottom and enter the referral code into the pop up.
Your free month of Stash Hub Plus #
After submitting the referral code, you’ll see a pop up confirming that your code has been applied. During your free month of Stash Hub Plus you’ll have access to all the features including unlimited uploads, multiple images per record, advanced filters, unlimited use of Magic Input plus access to exclusive shop discounts. You won’t be opted in to a recurring subscription after your free month, your account will revert to the free version of Stash Hub as described in the box below. You won’t lose anything if you’ve uploaded more than 20 records during your free month.
To check your subscription status, open the Menu, then select ‘View Subscription‘. Here you’ll be able to check how long is left on your free Stash Hub Plus subscription. You can subscribe to Stash Hub Plus at any time, just tap on ‘View Subscription Plans’ to see pricing for monthly and yearly subscriptions.
